 Quite an innovative one ! This is a tool that makes it possible to work with panoramic images such as those used in VRML worlds, Quicktime VR movies, 3DS - or even Quake II worlds. Basically, it consists in a great-looking, easy to use, viewer to help you choose the view you want to modify. You can then easily edit it in Photoshop, for later use in the other applications above. Still from inside Photoshop, you can then apply simple movements (rotate right, up...) or go back to SkyPaint to choose with more precision a new part of the image to work on, etc...
The main difference with traditional plugins is that it needs an external viewer to be launched first, which may surprise some - but it is well worth it : a great, easy interface, and the ability to use this plugin with lots of 3D formats. |
Wasabi produce SkyPaint, which comes in two versions, the GE version being cheaper and ore targeted at game designers.
