3D Hot Text 1.5

Screenshot of the interfaceNow that I have finally been able to get that demo running...
3D HotText is a really impressive plugin, it not only enables you to manipulate text along paths as you want, but also to do it in 3D, both for the letters themselves (they can have bevel, texture, etc...), but also for the words : you can move and manipulate the paths along which they flow in a 3D environment, thus allowing for example for perspective effects... Even the interface, a traditional problem with 3D software, is clear and easy to understand.

The 1.5 version adds improved bevels.

The only regret I have is that even if the render remains quite fast for such a plugin, the real-time preview relies heavily on your machine's resources.

Enables you to insert 3D objects inside Photoshop works. At first it looks like a very cool idea, the first trouble is that it makes heavy calculations (you need a machine on steroids to get the demo to work in near-to real-time and you can go and have a walk or a cigarette once you decided to click on "Apply").

And the main trouble is that when you want a 3D program, you do not use PS, you just go for something that is made for 3D... If you are still interested in such a plugin, better have a look at Rayflect´s Phototracer !
