In this section I have tried to compile all problems frequently encountered when using specific plugins. |

|
|
- Andromeda : Series 4 TechTures. It was developed before PS4.0, and does not work properly with selections in layers, leaving transparent areas. The problem could be fixed for a new version coming with PS5. |
|
|
- MetaCreations : KPT3 . Several filters in this set do not work properly with selections and layers on the PC, specially the Gradient Designer. MetaCreations seems to have no intention of fixing the problem. |

- Multimedia Lab : 3D Texture Painter. Only in beta for the moment, this beta does not seem to work on some machines, leading to Photoshop double-crashing. Make sure you have installed it in the Filters subfolder of your plugins folder. |

- Vertigo : 3D HotText and Plastic Thought : QuickSpace. This one is not a bug, but to operate these 2, you will need the QuickDraw module from Apple, now included in QuickTime 3 (you can get it at : www.quicktime.com). HotText also needs Photoshop's Registry key for working, so you may ned to reinstall Photoshop (or try double-clicking a file named Photoshop.reg in the Photoshop directory), then HotText, to get it not to crash Photoshop. - Auto FX : Photographic Edges (this one thanks to Sandy Moore) : If you experience trouble when trying to change the colors (such as the border color) in another host than PS, try resetting the hosts preferred color picker to Windows Standard. |
