This set is extremely rich, featuring all sorts of effects, from texture generators tools to colorize effects... They are grouped inside 20 different plugins, and total more than 120...
They regroup about every effect you can find in filters made with the Filter Factory, the most useful and impressive I found were the Alpha, Noisee, Coolorize
and the two Warp tools - lots of very common and useful effects, done in a very
efficient manner. The other big pleasure from this set is that the interface
manages to be both nice-looking and easy to use ; the only thing I found missing
was an ability to store and manage presets, but even with this, the set remains
a definite must-buy. For more info and a demo:

9 Gradient creators : some black and white such as Beam Gradients, Quadruple Beam Gradients and Chaos Gradients, some very colored as Mystic Mountain, Double Sphere Gradients, Mixed Gradients and Mixed Beam Gradients for colored ones. There is also a frame gradient.
Part of the freeware "Harry's Filters".
A good alternative to KPT3's Gradient Designer. |

These totals 32 filters, some of which were already present in the previous version of this set, and have been improved a lot since then. There are a lot of very interesting color effects (Atmospherize, Color Mood or Add Color), a number of classic effects (tilers and noise), plus the very useful FileSize Reducer that helps a lot when trying to figure how many bits of color data you really need.

A lot of interesting tools, even if you will dump some. |

4 more fractal patterns generators : the 70s Pop for that nice, "disco ball on the floor" look, Raspberry Texture, and the two beautiful Sinfinity and Radial Sinality.
Not something you cannot live without, but it can be nice to have them around.

The Cryptology filters do not have an aesthetic, but functional purpose : encoding images with a 64-bit key. Explanations from the author :"You can use the encryption filters to hide visual information when sending it by e-mail or storing it on your hard drive. But you can also use them to create noise on pictures that can easily be removed, if you have or get the right key. Different methods are better than one. You can combine different encryption filters to have a stronger protection e.g. when applying three encryption filters on a picture you have a 192 bit key encryption. You can even save an encrypted picture as a JPG file, but after decrypting it, it will be a bit noisy. That's why I created the Decrypt Noise Reducer filter."

OK, this is really a specialty set, no need to put it at the top of your download list... |
