This Parisian company
produced numerous plugins, of which two excellent ones for Photoshop :
Four Seasons and
PhotoTracer. They also give for free two extensions for using 3D Studio Max and Ray Dream scenes in
PhotoTracer.
Note that both Four Seasons
(KPT SkyEffects) and PhotoTracer (KPT Scenebuilder) are now offered as part of
Corel's KPT6 set of filters, with different names but the same interface.

 This great plugin generates skies according to all sorts of imaginable settings, which makes a good alternative to searching through dozens of images to find exactly the sky you need for your image... You can play with all sorts of presets, make your own, get natural or absolutely abnormal effects, adjust every parameter. Among these, you have a good choice of ways to get the moon or the sun appear in your scene ; if you want something more comprehensive for this specific need, have a look at
Flaming Pear´s SolarCell.
In the end, a really great tool, even if not the kind of things you use for your everyday work. |

 This excellent plugin enables you to use 3D objects within Photoshop images with almost as much control as in a true 3D application : you can move, resize, scale and texture the objects as you want from a simple to understand interface. You also have full control over textures and lighting effects, and on top of that I have found it to be really fast... It also comes with an impressive library of existing objects, and you can use your own in 3DS format.
So what does it lack ? Hu, nothing ! |
