Here I try to indicate the most interesting web sites regarding Photoshop in general.

I have distinguished between good links pages (only pointing to good resources), pages with so much that they are just "must-see pages", those mainly about Tips and Tricks (tutorials and the like), those with all sorts of information (Resources Pages), a little section about pages offering presets for Blade Pro. and also opened a section for sites in French.

Do not forget to check out the sites indicated on each plugin page, you can often find there tons of information, tips, trick and such....

Must-see pages

-Photoshop Filters.com is a site that has a large collection of filter sets displayed from the best authors on the web.  Filter downloads and links.
- One new site that should not be missed is PhotoshopSupport.com.  There you will find a comprehensive resource center of links to news, tutorials, plugins and more. Well worth the visit!

If you are looking for more free brushes.. you might want to take a look at website full of hundreds of unique photoshop brushes and downloads at Obsidian Dawn.
 Terrific Photoshop tutorials, gallery and over 500 resource links can be found at MyJanee.com. Be sure to enter her monthly art challenge!

AutoFX has more than 3,000 royalty free seamless and full sized textures to download as well as an absolutely awesome collection of free designer fonts.  Look in "download software" A must see!
- For everything about photo restoration and retouching... RetouchPRO is one of the best sources available on the web.
- The absolute best place to find tons of useful Photoshop actions and brushes is at Adobe's www.actionxchange.com.

- Especially if you are looking for Andrew's Filters or Filter Factory Filters, but beware of the images on his front door : Steves Desktop Photography.

Pegasus Web Design Resources features web design, graphic design and Adobe PhotoShop tutorials, plus a few free website templates and buttons.

Johann's page : filters and the world famous Plugin Manager
- A good page rather intended at Paint Shop Pro users, but with a huge collection of resources :

Photoshop Brushes by Sage has 360 Photoshop brushes divided into 12 sets, containing 30 exclusive brushes which can easily be used to make attractive borders or frames and matching buttons or icons. A large quantity of FREE brushes are available.
- Dizteq.com is a site with a nice variety of useful tutorials, reviews, links and some freebees.

Resources pages

- Good sources for Royalty-Free images can be found at: Corbis, PhotosToGo.com and PhotoSpin.
- An interesting tutorial on special effects at the
Art Of Distortion
- State of Entropy has plenty of resources, PSP-oriented but there are also a lot of things for Blade Pro users.
- If you are looking for web graphics, Free-CDSoftware has a 100,000 Web Images Collection CD for free. (Well...$7.50 shipping and handling)
- All sorts of sorted graphic links, actions, fonts, clipart... on allgraphicdesign.com.
- If you are looking for Photoshop tutorials...  Good-Tutorials is a great source.  Huge collection!

Tips and tricks pages

- Photoshopvideos.com offers "how-to" Photoshop videos on a featuring Scott  Kelby, Editor of Photoshop User magazine.
- Of course, Lynda has terrific Photoshop easy to follow lessons on CD.
- Eyeball Design is a very nice site that has excellent high-tech interface tutorials.

- Adobe of course offers many great tutorials, most of which are available in PDF format (I wonder why they chose that format)
- Adobe has added a new site featuring tutorials for Photoshop 6.
- Photoshop Roadmap has more than 200 Photoshop tutorials.

The Plugin Site has compiled an impressive listing of filters available together with filters and resources for Premiere. The site has also listed a number of tutorials available on the Web.

Blade Pro presets

Blade Pro is a wonderful plugin for which you can save settings ; many people have done so and offer these presets on their websites (below) ; the latest information usually is in the newsgroupTo the top of the page comp.graphics.apps.paint-shop-pro.

  • Flaming Pear offers a number of presets packs and links to a couple of pages.
  • Some nice wood presets can be found at The Mcknelly Family.
  •  At Linkware Graphics, You'll currently find 100 SuperBladePro presets for metal, glass, pastels and more.  Also they have instructions on how to download and install them.

Sites in French

Francois Saluden, on top of managing the Photoshopfr mailing-list, also maintains his own site, including a growing collection of freeware filters in French : www.saluden.com.
