This company produces two excellent plugins for the web, JPEG 2 and ColorGif 2, plus a bundle, WebFocus. They also have GifCruncher, an online utility for reducing the size of your images, here.

Another JPEG export module, allowing you to compress images in an easy and efficient way, using a number of presets according to the kind of image (portrait, textured image...), and with built-in preview. Regret : too few compression parameters.

Almost the best Gif Export module in my opinion (a bit more powerful than Ulead Smartsaver but less handy), you do not have to index your palette or define transparent colors before anymore, the whole business can be done from within this interface, also allowing you to play with Websafe, custom or system palettes, that you can save and load...

WebFocus is just a bundle including the two plugins above.
