6 Filters : Border Fade and Color Fade are self-explanatory and not very useful or interesting, Persian Rug, PatternEditDo and PatternEditUndo are tilers ; the most useful of the pack is Color Book, a "Solarize on steroids" for heavy color effects. The interface of some plugins is directly Filter Factory expressions... |

1969 is an excellent psychedelic colorizer, Book is a most original one that gives the look of a magazine / phone book page to your image, Bricks gives the feeling that your image is painted on a brick wall, Crystal is another psychedelic colorizer that affects the edges and the center of the image differently, Ice is a kind of embosser but much lighter than most ones, Melt warps the image in a single zone, Psych adds a psychedelic texture effect with lots of parameters, Reshader RGB and Reshader XY color and accent the highlights, TileBlendRough adds noise at the edges, and TunnelVision adds a mirror inside effect.
The whole set of 11 provides for new and very interesting filters, the 2 Reshaders, 1969 and psych being maybe the most impressive. |

DuoTrast
is a psychedelic colorizer, ProBlend blends edges and colors, Rain does works well, Rich-n-r is excellent for adjusting highlights and shadows, and finally Stakker tiles the part of the image you want.
Well, not much this time... |

This latest release from DC introduces DarkGlass, which enables you to modify the transparency of an image based on its highlights - an impressive job, and Layerblend, of which I cannot get the hang.
There are also old filters : ProBlend, Rich-n-r, Ice, Persian Rug, BorderFade, ColorFade, DuoTrast (see above for all these); plus BeyondEdger, that accentuates the edges of the image, Edger, which embosses, and the excellent Outliner, that should cater for all of your shadows/highlights coloring.
These are well worth the download, the new filters in this release being astounding and extremely useful. |
