This format plugin enables Photoshop to read/write images in Jazz format, this format meaning reduced size (I turned a 3.5 Mb PS file into a 1.5 Mb Jazz file) through lossless compression, but while keeping all the data you find in a Photoshop file. The format also has a number of features for checking the integrity of the file.
All these features make it the perfect format for exchanging data between companies and artists, the only drawback I have seen being that it is quite slow to load or save images, and you cannot decide at saving time what data you keep (it is all or nothing). |
